Sin embargo, un aspecto menos visible es la vulnerabilidad de la industria automotriz estadounidense ante cualquier interrupci\u00f3n en el\u00a0<b>suministro de autopartes provenientes de M\u00e9xico<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>La interdependencia entre ambos pa\u00edses es mucho m\u00e1s profunda de lo que se reconoce p\u00fablicamente, y los especialistas consultados coinciden en que cualquier cambio en este equilibrio tendr\u00eda repercusiones para ambas econom\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e9xico es el mayor proveedor de autopartes para Estados Unidos, representando el 42.9% de todas las importaciones en este rubro, seg\u00fan datos de la Industria Nacional de Autopartes. Detr\u00e1s de M\u00e9xico est\u00e1n Canad\u00e1, con un 10%, y China, con un 7.6%.<\/p>\n<div class=\"moveable_w\" data-object-type=\"particle\" data-content-type=\"maintitle\">\n<div class=\"maintitle\">\n<div class=\"innertext\"><b>Principales pa\u00edses proveedores de autopartes de Estados Unidos<\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"moveable_w\" data-object-type=\"particle\" data-content-type=\"bodytext\">\n<div class=\"moveable particle body-text ig-theme-group-text\">\n<div class=\"bodytext\">\n<div class=\"innertext\">M\u00e9xico es el principal proveedor de autopartes para las f\u00e1bricas en Estados Unidos, abarcando el 42.9% del total de las importaciones de estos componentes.<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Estos n\u00fameros muestran el rol clave que juega M\u00e9xico en la producci\u00f3n automotriz estadounidense, cuya capacidad anual supera los 10 millones de veh\u00edculos, de acuerdo con la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional de Fabricantes de Veh\u00edculos (OICA). Sin el suministro continuo de piezas mexicanas, ser\u00eda imposible mantener estas cifras.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de esta profunda integraci\u00f3n, la narrativa p\u00fablica rara vez destaca la dependencia que tiene Estados Unidos de M\u00e9xico. En cambio, los discursos pol\u00edticos, como las recurrentes amenazas del candidato republicano Donald Trump sobre la imposici\u00f3n de aranceles a los veh\u00edculos fabricados en M\u00e9xico tienden a enfocarse en los da\u00f1os que estas medidas causar\u00edan a la industria mexicana.<\/p>\n<p>No obstante, una interrupci\u00f3n en el suministro de autopartes tendr\u00eda un impacto directo en las cadenas de producci\u00f3n de Estados Unidos, afectando su capacidad para fabricar veh\u00edculos competitivos en el mercado global.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHay una integraci\u00f3n muy fuerte de los veh\u00edculos producidos en Estados Unidos con componentes mexicanos\u2026 Tendr\u00eda una disrupci\u00f3n en sus cadenas de producci\u00f3n, en sus propias f\u00e1bricas\u201d, se\u00f1ala Guillermo Rosales, presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Distribuidores de Automotores (AMDA).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Como parte de su estrategia para reducir la dependencia de importaciones asi\u00e1ticas, Estados Unidos ha optado por priorizar a M\u00e9xico como su principal proveedor de componentes automotrices. Las exportaciones de autopartes mexicanas hacia Estados Unidos crecieron un 87% entre enero y julio de este a\u00f1o, mientras que a otros mercados, como Canad\u00e1 y Brasil, el crecimiento fue mucho m\u00e1s moderado, con aumentos de 3.3% y 1.9%, respectivamente.<\/p>\n<p>Esto ha resultado en un super\u00e1vit de 22,755 millones de d\u00f3lares a favor de M\u00e9xico, seg\u00fan datos de la Industria Nacional de Autopartes, basados en informaci\u00f3n de S&amp;P Global.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de las dificultades log\u00edsticas, un incremento en los costos debido a aranceles impactar\u00eda la competitividad de la industria estadounidense. No es solo un problema de producci\u00f3n; es una cuesti\u00f3n de mantener la posici\u00f3n de Estados Unidos como l\u00edder global en la fabricaci\u00f3n de autom\u00f3viles.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"cms-Subtitulos-Subtitulo1\">El principal proveedor de veh\u00edculos<\/h2>\n<p>M\u00e9xico no solo es el mayor proveedor de autopartes para la industria estadounidense, sino tambi\u00e9n su principal exportador de veh\u00edculos. En septiembre de 2024, Estados Unidos import\u00f3 257,429 veh\u00edculos fabricados en M\u00e9xico, la cifra m\u00e1s alta para cualquier mes, superando a pa\u00edses como Corea del Sur y Jap\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Modelos ic\u00f3nicos como la Chevrolet Silverado y la Toyota Tacoma, que se encuentran entre los m\u00e1s vendidos en Estados Unidos, dependen en gran medida de la producci\u00f3n mexicana. De las 412,397 unidades de la Silverado vendidas en el mercado estadounidense entre enero y octubre de este a\u00f1o, 126,810 provinieron de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<div id=\"middle\">\n<div class=\"ig-container relative zeropadding embed-mode\">\n<div class=\"ig-items\">\n<div class=\"moveable_w\" data-object-type=\"particle\" data-content-type=\"maintitle\">\n<div
