HISTORY
We are the most dynamic and highly recognized logistics Dry Port in Mexico and Latin America.
Guanajuato Puerto Interior began as the great idea of a group of entrepreneurs who believed that Guanajuato had the ideal conditions to promote exports.
Then, it was said: 'We have the agency to do business; now we need to create a place to develop them!' And so, the creation of an export platform was driven forward, which over the years transformed into an important logistics center, carefully thought out and planned to accommodate a mix of complementary uses and vocations that optimize and streamline the daily activities of companies.
In 2006, the first firm step was taken with the establishment of the 'Guanajuato Puerto Interior' Variable Capital Stock Corporation. In this way, what was once an ambitious project that seemed difficult to achieve has now become the result of visionary work, continuity, and trust.
Under the leadership of the Government of the State of Guanajuato, for over 30 years, they decided to invest in this unprecedented business and infrastructure project in Latin America, to spearhead the economic development of parks and industrial corridors in the State of Guanajuato, as well as to attract investments to Mexico.
Today, this commitment has been exceeded, with the development of 1,277 hectares, in which just 18 years after starting operations and commercialization, more than 130 companies have been established, ensuring a historic investment of over 5 billion dollars and generating over 30,000 direct jobs and 90,000 indirect jobs.
